Richard J. "Richie" Wood, 80, of Holden, died on June 29, 2026. He is survived by his wife Judy (McKinnon) of Rutland; his children, Kristen Pepin of Rutland and Richard Jr. (Abbi) of Paxton; and his great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Owen Wood and Rose Wood (Blanchard), and his siblings. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 258 Main St., Rutland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Healthcare Center (jhccenter.org) per the family's wishes.
